The Training and Further Training Centre of the College of Nyíregyháza was established in 1997 and its main goal is to offer postgraduate trainings and courses for teachers since the College of Nyíregyháza, formerly known as György Bessenyei Teacher’s Training College, emphasizes teachers’ trainings. The Centre is also running state recognized vocational trainings and language courses.
The Centre is also very active in the field of national and international projects, it has a well-established relationship with different foreign institutions. Since the concept of Lifelong Learning was introduced in Hungary the Centre has been dedicated to these strategies and aims. The Centre takes on the role of being pioneer in introduction new methods and ways of education and to discover new fields for the concept of LLL. The Centre has been focusing on adult trainings for not only teachers but for the public as well.
